C) Audience profiles
Audience Member 1 - Someone who really enjoys sport mainly football and likes to keep up to date on what is happening with their local football team, they would be listening the Cambridge Sport: pre match where they build up to the Cambridge or Peterborough game, Saturday Sport where there would be live commentary of the game and also Cambridgeshire sport: The post match.
Audience Member 2 - Someone who is retired from work and likes to do things like puzzles, reading and gardening, they would be listening to Chris South's show on gardening and nature and maybe some late night entertainment (mainly music) for when they are doing some puzzles or crosswords.
Audience Member 3 - Someone who is a parent that makes the school run everyday for more than 1 child and they would be watching the Dotty Mcleod breakfast show because it fits in with the time they'd be going to work and taking their children to school.
D) Production processes
Some roles that appeal to me would be things such as researching for planning, and maybe things to do with the pre record part of the production stage such as getting the show's playlist so like music and perhaps pictures and videos to do with the news but not conducting an interview. In pre production the part of uploading the show for people to listen to again online appeals to me a bit.
However one part of the production process for a radio that doesn't appeal for me is the production (live) because I am not a person who likes to talk in front of people so talking into a camera that a live audience would not suit me, so anything to do with presenting would not be for me.
The roles that appeal to me are more to do with behind the scenes and not in front of the camera.
